Hemp Tip of the Month- Feeding the Hemp Dryer

As an experienced leader in the Hemp Processing Industry, IAC’s President, Bob Carter, explains the importance of feeding the hemp once it is processed to the dryer after extraction. After commissioning several different hemp drying facilities, IAC realized that a main difficulty in this process is getting a consistent size feed through the dryer, whether you are using a rotary drum dryer, fluidized bed dryer or a box air dryer. Partnering Provides Hemp Processing Solutions From Seed-to-Sale for Small Farmers and Large Co-op Facilities

Mission, KS – In early September 2019, IAC was contracted to design, construct, commission and operate two (2-8TPH) hemp drying and bagging facilities. IAC completed both projects, in parallel, with an expedited design, procurement, construction and commissioning activity that only allowed a 6-week project completion window, due to crops needing harvest.
